Dolphin Animate is a free, open-source 2D animation application built for fast and intuitive frame-by-frame animation. It replicates the classic timeline workflow of Macromedia Flash / Adobe Animate without the subscription bloat.

###   Key Features

- **  Classic Flash-Style Timeline:** Uses a smart Frame Spanning (Exposure) system. Normal frames share vector data with their parent keyframe, preventing file bloat. Use standard shortcuts: **F5** (Extend Frame), **F7** (Blank Keyframe), **F6** (Keyframe Copy).

- **  Vector Brush & Pencil:** Smooth variable-width strokes with tablet pressure sensitivity (or mouse speed-based simulation) powered by `perfect-freehand`.

- **  Free Transform:** Scale, rotate, skew, and move selected strokes with custom pivot points.

- **  Anti-Aliased Fill Tool:** Anti-aliased flood fill with gap closing.

- **  Clean Eraser:** Eraser intelligently splits and cuts vector lines.

- **  Game Dev Sprite Sheet Export:** Export as a sprite sheet (with JSON metadata), animated GIF, or PNG sequence.
